Farsoth

Farsoth was founded in Sala, Sweden, by Jari Kuusisto in 2020. Shortly thereafter, Joakim Mikiver on vocals, Jonas Magnusson on bass and Kristofer Elemyr on guitar were contacted to join the band.

The search for the right drummer turned out to be more difficult than expected. Several months later the position was still unfilled, so Jari contacted his good friend Chris Barkensjö of Lik to handle the drum recordings for the album. With that, Farsoth had nine songs recorded but still no permanent drummer.

In early 2021, William Parkstam was recruited as Farsoth's permanent drummer. Farsoth rehearsed for the first time as a full band in William's hometown of Uppsala. The band went on to release several videos on YouTube, followed by the debut album The Plague on the major streaming platforms.

Shortly after the release, in late 2022, William decided to leave the band due to other obligations. Tragically, Kristofer Elemyr also passed away.

In 2023, Johnny Nymark joined Farsoth on guitar and Staffan Lundholm joined on drums.

During 2024 and 2025, Farsoth released The Plague and Morbid Symphonies through Black Lion Records and played numerous gigs and festivals, including Bulgasal Metal Fest and Protzen Open Air.

Teddy Möller performed session drums on Morbid Symphonies.

In 2025, the band also began the writing process for album number three.

Black Lion Records and Farsoth later decided to part ways, and in early 2026 Farsoth signed a deal with M-Theory Audio.

With a new record deal and a new album ahead, Farsoth are looking forward to what the future holds.

Farsoth can be found across social media and streaming platforms including Facebook, Spotify and YouTube.
